It made almost 20#'s of ice before it quit working
Machine is full of water and Low Water light comes on and water will not circulate. I was willing to live with the face it makes big chucks of ice you need to break up to use, but now I get nothing. Got it for Christmas and didn't get to end of February.

Not working the ice

Excellent ice machine, mostly..
We love our ice machine and it works great, most of the time. We have had some issues with the water pump making noises and finally had to replace it after a year of pretty constant use.

Would not recommend. BROKEN QUICKLY

More problems....
This is the second unit I have purchased and both have failed a little over a year after purchase. Now the "Ice Full" light is on but there there is no ice in the hopper. Frustrating.

Buyer Beware, on my 3rd replacement and same problems!
I'm lost for words! I have NEVER replaced an appliance 3 times for the same issues! Your ice maker is faulty and you're taking customers for granted by wasting our time with the replacement that continues to carry on with the same issues! Maybe taking this company to court will clear this matter up! I'm tired of begging for a product that should work for more than 3 - 6 months, with only 2 adults using it! I've also noticed my complaints from before were never posted and you have to agree to add the 1 star on your rating is also a joke!

I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less. After following all the directions on how to correct the issues with the first unit (took 2 weeks of back and forth for company to agree that they should send me a replacement), my replacement arrived and I was hopeful. The replacement unit lasted 2x what the first unit lasted, but still - COME ON!! I'm experiencing the same issues with the replacement. Huge block of ice, not cubes, the unit won't stop unless I manually turn it off and unplug. I've followed all the directions, cleaned the unit several times and still - huge block of ice that won't release. The only thing these small ice makers are doing is filling up landfills, because there's not a single one on the market that will last very long. What a waste of money and so bad for the planet. I'd ask why these companies who make small ice makers can't make a reliable product, but I know the answer - if they constantly fail, consumers will just keep replacing them - lining the pockets of the company owners.

Stopped working after 8mo.
The first couple of months were good, but then it started creating persistent ice blocks, causing daily hassles. Despite my efforts to keep it clean and troubleshoot, the issues persisted. By the eighth month, it completely stopped working, leaving me disappointed with the overall performance

Would not recommend
It was wonderful for the first three months. Now the water runs on and on, forms a large block the after about an hour shuts down and the light flashes.

We have been using our Newair ice maker a few times a week without problems. It worked normally yesterday and now today it is forming a large block of ice and won't drop the ice until we turn the machine off and it starts to melt. How do we fix this issue???

My machine worked great. I cleaned it with vinegar. Now I have a knocking noise and tiny debris is collecting on the bottom reservoir. Ice is still be produced.

I have had my Newair Clearice 40 for about 3 years and use it a lot! All of a sudden it won't push the ice out into the tray. It freezes in the metal grid. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Regarding the issue you have mentioned, we kindly suggest that you turn off the unit and allow the ice block to melt. Once this is done, please proceed to clean the condenser and fan using compressed air. You can do this by removing the back panel of the unit. After completing these steps, we recommend waiting for a period of 24 hours before turning the icemaker back on and running an ice cycle. You can also detach hoses, soak it in CLR, and then clean them thoroughly with water. After cleaning, run a few cycles to ensure no cleaning solution or CLR remains, and then run a test ice cycle with purified water.
