Love this ice maker!
I have a small freezer with no ice maker. I was making ice using ice trays that took up allot of room. To solve the problem I researched counter top ice makers and found Newair. It makes small ice cubes which I like and I now only make ice every 2 to 3 days. Been using it now for the past 7 months and just love it.

Fantastic CLEAR Ice Machine
We use our Clearice 40 everyday. Fill it with water and an hour later there's enough CLEAR ice for a day. A couple hours gives you enough clear ice for a night of cocktails. Clear ice is better.

Love this ice maker
I purchased this ice maker for my home. I love the smaller, clear ice cubes it makes. However, after 6 months, I had trouble with it no longer making ice and just freezing it into a solid block. I called Customer Service and got an immediate response. I am currently in the process of having it replaced. No issues with Customer Service so far. Can't wait to get my new unit. I love the ice!

Great Icemaker - very fast and love the cubes
Icemaker works very well. After initial run, the machine makes cubes very quickly. It's also relatively easy to clean with a vinegar and water spray solution. We use this consistently as the icemaker in our freezer went out. Love this machine.

Better than the bullet ice makers
This thing makes restaurant ice-square cubes that are frozen together in a sheet. Better than the bullet ice makers (clear ice!) but shares the same minor drawback of reflecting water back at you.

We have been using our Newair ice maker a few times a week without problems. It worked normally yesterday and now today it is forming a large block of ice and won't drop the ice until we turn the machine off and it starts to melt. How do we fix this issue???

I have had my Newair Clearice 40 for about 3 years and use it a lot! All of a sudden it won't push the ice out into the tray. It freezes in the metal grid. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Regarding the issue you have mentioned, we kindly suggest that you turn off the unit and allow the ice block to melt. Once this is done, please proceed to clean the condenser and fan using compressed air. You can do this by removing the back panel of the unit. After completing these steps, we recommend waiting for a period of 24 hours before turning the icemaker back on and running an ice cycle. After cleaning, run a few cycles to ensure no cleaning solution or CLR remains, and then run a test ice cycle with purified water.
