The ice maker we purchased from Lowe's initially impressed us, but it quickly malfunctioned after a month. The refurbished replacement also broke. It's a regrettable waste of money. Keep searching and shopping elsewhere.

I would not buy this product again
We purchased and used this ice maker for roughly 4 months..It worked great..Then one hot afternoon, I came in from mowing in the heat looking forward to a glass of ice water,but to no avail, the icemaker wasn't working..After some time examining it,we found that the ice tray connector to the motor that operates the tray and shovel had stripped out,causing the machine to no longer work and to go into fault mode...While you can buy a replacement shovel, you cannot purchase a replacement tray..Buyer beware

Left without Ice Maker
Stopped working on March 8th and with all the back and forth with emails all are now out of stock until possibly the end of March! What's the point of getting the warranty if you have you cannot get a replace.

Broke within the first 6 months.
This product worked great when it worked. It pumped out a ton of ice each day we used it. It was nice to have plenty of ice available each day. Downside is that it broke after about 6 months of use

Workhorse
Love this ice machine bought it when the ice maker in my well known expensive refrigerator quit working. It has been a real workhorse. I love ice water and use a 40 oz glass to keep my water in and fill it several times a day there is always a full tray of ice when I need to refill my glass. Ice never has any funny tastes like other brands i have had experience with. Buy it you will not be disappointed. Will buy again if it ever needs replacement so far a great appliance. I have recommended this to several friends.

Finally, A Company that doesn't leave in the Cold
First of all, this product actually does everything that it touts; however, the customer service exceeds my expectations. Elizabeth not only answered my questions, she also came through doing everything she had offered to do. I am going through a battle getting a refrigerator to live up to their warranty. 48 hours in and still no ice.
I purchased this two days ago and was so excited. I have been skeptical for a few years. Then after a week of watching videos and reading reviews I purchased one. I have done everything from resetting to cleaning. As I am sitting here it has dumped water, not frozen anything and I am a little frustrated.

I would recommend this product
First portable ice maker did not work when we received it. Newair customer service has worked with us in replacing the portable ice maker with ease. After troubleshooting the ice maker they have approved a replacement ice maker to be sent to us. With that being said I have to write this review to get the free return shipping. Since we had received the product that did not work we ordered another one. This one works well and makes ice in a matter of minutes. Easy to set up and start using.

Did not work out of box
Spent over $200 for this. Does not work out of box. Tray will not fill with water. Pump makes noise but nothing happens. Add Water light comes on even though reservoir is full. Bad product.
