This icemaker makes the best ice! I use it at least every other day. There are only the two of us but we both enjoy the nugget size ice and are always wanting something to drink. Here is South Carolina I cannot go anywhere without a glass of something cold in my hand. It is compact enough that it fits nicely on our kitchen counter. The only drawback to this model is the amount of noise it makes when its running. We have an open floor plan and although the icemaker is not real noisy, it is obvious if we are in the family room when the icemaker is running.

I LOVE this nugget ice maker so much
I have been wanting a good solid nugget ice maker that works well and is a great one for using with water, soda, etc and I found it! This is an awesome nugget ice maker and is mine and my kids favorite thing to use for ice. I use this ice maker multiple times per day and my kids love the ice too. I definitely recommend it and it is super easy to set up and fill to the fill line, etc.

Do not buy from Newair!
I received a Newair countertop ice maker for Christmas 2023. The machine quit working after 3 months. I had registered my gift on Dec 26th and advised it was a gift. I contacted customer support when the machine stopped working. After exchanging several emails and performing all the recommended steps and providing a video, I was told that the machine would need to be replaced. I provided all the requested information for the exchange and told them that it was a gift so I didn't have a receipt. (My friend looked but could not find a receipt). Their last reply was that they could not make a warranty exchange without a receipt. IF you purchase this unit hold on to the receipt, if you receive one as a gift…..Good luck!!

Perfect Compact Ice Maker!

In the self-cleaning process for the NIM026MBN0 / NIM026SSN0, the manual says to run the self-cleaning process. By doing so, you are to press and hold the ICE/CLEAN button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes white. In my efforts to do so, no light flashed, The ICE/CLEAN light just comes on stays white and the ice maker goes into ice-making mode. Is this correct? What am I to look for in the self-cleaning process? Full Detail, please. Is there a video? I just purchased it and the directions are not clear. Like another question in this Q&A section, someone asked if we were to put water into the reservoir, it wasn't clear to do so.
