A new fridge should cool down…
Bought this fridge at a charity auction. Brand new. On installation the fridge did not cool down. Called for help but, given I have no receipt, agent said there is nothing they can do. A new fridge should cool down…receipt or no receipt. NewAir should stand by their products.

Would buy again BUT
We loved it and am going to buy another one - however... This lasted us six years, but we were expected longer. I do admit that the under-counter space it was in, caused considerable heat. Service is not what I expect. I wrote to ask about beeping, got an email back that they would answer in 24 hours, but they didn't write back. Still waiting on an answer.

Sounds like an airplane is taking off
The fridge was working just fine for the first twelve months that we had it - very quiet, and kept the wine at the appropriate temperature. Two weeks after the warranty ran out, the fridge now sounds like an airplane is taking off in our basement. I've reached out to customer service twice now regarding the issue and have not been contacted since. I'm hopeful that Newair chooses to stand behind their products, but at this point I cannot recommend.

Looks great, but unreliable
Purchased this fridge in 2018-- since then, have had to replace compressor and control board (at substantial cost), and now the top zone has stopped working again. Given the cost, I am surprised that it has not lasted longer.

Good small fridge
I have this in a vacation house. The capacity is fine for that use. Lock is useful. Weak point are the wood racks. They don't extend much, stain easy, and are cramped (29 bottles?... more like 15)

Red, White, and Rose'
I had previously purchased a Newair ABR-1770 to store my beer and soda and had been happy with it for over a year so when the wine cooler went out I decided to purchase this unit with 2 cooling zones but cheaper than other units with only one. The wood shelves slide very nicely for access to my bottles and I love having separate temps for my red and white/rose'. Very quiet and looks like a built-in.

Nice looking unit and easy to use.
I like the dual zone capability. After two months, the light for the control bar went out and needed replacing. However, I contacted New Air on their chat line and was helped immediately by Charles who diagnosed the problem. It's under warranty and I will get a replacement part. Overall, I like the unit- it has been working very well until this light thing and even now is keeping the wines cool!

Stopped working at 12-18 months.
Looks beautiful. Unfortunately, it stopped cooling after 12-18 months. I contacted Newair and apparently it's a bad compressor and the whole unit needs to be replaced, however there is only a 1 year warranty. Too bad, since it's a very expensive item.

New Review
So I left a few reviews concerning the issues I had with my wine fridge of just 1 year. I had an issue and I was told to purchase another and 20 percent off to fix a 5 dollars issue. I finally got in contact with the right person and the part was sent out to me and all was well. I was truly upset in the beginning because I felt like I could have been helped. When you spend this kind of money on an item and it breaks when it should not I expect a resolve: so they came through my wine fridge can close without the rubber hanging from it. I'm happy and so grateful that they came through for me when I needed. Thanks New Air.
